Quick Start
One of the GREAT things about WorshipWebSite.net is that you can be up and running in no time! Here's some BASICS of how to get started using your Worship Web Site!
- Teams - First thing you need to do is start creating your teams. The Team concept is at the heart of everything you do on this site. A team is simply a group of people that are involved in a similar part of your ministry. A worship band is a 'team'. The sound crew can be a 'team'. The choir can be a separate 'team', too!
- Users - Next, add users. These are people on your worship teams, support staff, anyone who is involved in your worship ministry. These are the people who will use this site as well, to view orders of worship, communicate with others, view upcoming events on the calendar, and other administrators who help you with all the 'behind-the-scenes' stuff.
- Songs - Enter all the information you want about each song, including attaching audio files and music notation and you're ready for the next step....
- Create Orders of Worship - Next, take the songs you have entered and build your order - for this week, the week after - you can set up months in advance if you like. It's up to you.
- Communicate - There's many ways to communicate with your teams - through notifications that get sent in email (if you choose) and appear first thing when users log in, through the forums - a complete message board system built right in, and is exclusively for your ministry, and sending email through an easy to use system. You can send to individuals, or whole teams if you like. And they can send to you or other users.
